Future Chess Champions: Africawide's Chess Championships

Africawide is proud to have hosted the Africawide Chess Championships in 2023, a platform that showcased young chess talent from across the continent. The championships featured players of all ages, from aspiring 10-year-olds to nationally and internationally ranked FIDE-rated players.

Beyond the sport itself, chess has proven to be a valuable tool for developing essential skills such as strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical analysis. These skills are invaluable for individuals pursuing careers in strategy, entrepreneurship, and consulting.
